The Last Pearly 2014

John is a boy who could be king, a pearly King; but he has more important things to do than dress up in pearl buttons to entertain crowds of strangers. In fact he finds his pearly family and their traditions seriously embarrassing. When his beloved grandfather dies, John embarks on an adventure that reconnects him with his family history and proves that the pearly spirit is still going strong in Londoners today.

The Last Pearly is a magical story of disappearing traditions in an ever changing world.

Fusing storytelling and a family sing song, puppetry and music hall tradition; The Last Pearly is a new play for all the family written by Joseph Coelho. So roll out your barrel and get ready to warm your cockles with this right royal cockney knees up!

The Last Pearly will be performed at Rich Mix, Bethnal Green on Sunday 27th April 2014

Performances: 2pm and 7pm Tickets: £10/£8 Concessions, £25 family tickets available To book tickets call the box office on 020 7613 7498 or go to www.Richmix.org.uk
